Accounts Payable Our client in Winter Park, FL has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable position on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will commence promptly.

Company Profile: Hospitality Industry Fun, Energetic Team

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and assist the controller with daily accounting functions. Collect and record daily deposits. Maintain and control petty cash funds. Prepare General Cashier daily reports. Prepare the General Cashier’s Daily Receipts Sheet. Provide Front Office and Food & Beverage associates with required change. Reimburse Front Office cashiers for disbursements. Coordinate money transfers with Accounts Payable and Home Office. Inventory all hotel banks at least twice a month. Ensure all monies are banked/deposited daily. Disburse approved petty cash requests. Collect and distribute daily incoming mail. Prepare daily bank deposits of all checks and cash. Generate and follow up on a daily basis a list of all overages and shortages. Review Accounts Payable invoices for accuracy, coding, and timeliness. Convert purchasing requisitions for payment. Undertake any other duties as directed by the Accounting Manager/Controller.

Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum of 1 year experience in accounting, preferably accounts payable. Understanding of accounts payable practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Teams, and Excel. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
