We are looking for a Knowledge Management guru to work with our Joint Staff client. responsible for promoting and utilizing the companys knowledge assets. KM specialists work serve as consultants to promote the oneness of each department of the JS and assess how information will be disseminated to each Directorate in a smooth and systematized process.

As a KM specialist, you will strengthen connections to aid information exchange within systems; support establishment of unity in the organization; implement new ideas; execute info technology within the company; design and analyze networks for easier distribution of information; formulate action plans; manage multi-faceted projects. You will also support KM and Battle Rhythm and Business Process (BRBP) initiatives, to include but not limited to administrative support, program planning, execution, task and knowledge management, strategic planning, and process improvement. Support meetings, discussions, trainings, and projects that are designed to improve the timeliness and accurate flow of joint information; support DoD-wide decision-making, develop strategies, and execute improvements to the Joint Staff decision-making process. Support the development of variety of plans, to include project charters, plans, summaries, and collect clear requirements to promote the design and development of IT solutions that enhance the timely and accurate flow of joint information throughout the U.S. Government. Attend and support Joint and Federal KM meetings, working groups, conferences, and seminars with Joint Staff leadership and other partners partners to collaborate on KM and business processes across the Joint Force. Provide feedback from various forums to the JS KM team.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)experience supporting program and performance management efforts. Extensive experience supporting a variety of programs, performance, and administrative functions. Superb attention to detail, critical thinking and analysis skills, and excellent oral and written communication. Extensive experience in supporting the development of strategic documents, implementation plans and guidelines, memorandums, reports, and other information that may be presented to the most senior leaders of the U.S. Government. Expert knowledge of a variety of technologies, to include Microsoft Office programs and services, is required. Top Secret clearance required.
