Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Guest Support: Assist retail and service department guests in selecting the necessary parts with a friendly and professional approach.
  • Parts Knowledge: Inform guests about companion part requirements and current specials to enhance their purchasing experience.
  • Communication Mastery: Answer calls promptly, offering accurate price quotes and information.
  • Ensure Accuracy: Review estimates to ensure correct parts are ordered, and pricing aligns with estimates.
  • Order Management: Efficiently pull and fill orders from stock to meet guest needs.
  • Inventory Oversight: Alert the Parts Manager about out-of-stock parts or shop materials requiring immediate action.
  • Sourcing Skills: Locate hard-to-find parts from external sources and place emergency orders if necessary.
  • Guest Updates: Notify service advisors and guests when special-ordered parts are in.
  • Billing Accuracy: Ensure all internal parts requests are billed correctly to service repair orders.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain orderly records of all transactions, including repair orders and invoices.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
  • Ability to use computer systems and electronic databases
  • Experience working in a dealership or automotive parts center preferred
