The Account Director will be successful at cultivating partnerships with the strategy and creative teams to ensure that campaigns meet clients' marketing and financial objectives. The Account Director oversees all aspects of program growth and execution, including client relationships, strategy development, analytics reporting and oversight, and channel integration.This full-time, salaried position is open to candidates in the US who are eligible to work without current or future sponsorship. It's a hybrid position with days each week in the Peabody, Massachusetts, office. The salary range is $110,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on skills and expertise.What you'll do as an Account Director: Direct the activities of the team to maintain effective and efficient operations while ensuring compliance with established standards and practices and fulfillment of critical deadlines. Develop and execute all necessary training for the team, from new systems to upgrades and changes, ensuring that the team remains competent and flexible. Develop long-term strategic plans designed to ensure account retention, continued account success, and realistic program expansion. Contribute to the quarterly and annual business forecasting and reforecasting by providing account trends and sharing future client needs. Analyze results of campaigns, including all channel activity and the impact of one channel upon another. Tracks and analyzes results of test mailing programs. Report to client on budget and donor activity. Develop and implement new and innovative approaches to provide, expand or improve current practices. Share ideas and client needs throughout all phases of client life cycle (plan, design, integrate, implement, manage). Oversee the development of campaigns plans and budgets by account team. Supervise the preparation of and conduct presentations for clients and prospective clients. Direct external vendors as needed. Stay informed about industry standards, best practices, postal regulations, production processes and innovative products. Work with the division president and leadership to develop and maintain relationships with strategically important individuals and organizations within the industry. Contribute to Moore's presence in the direct response fundraising industry through knowledge sharing via whitepapers and conference presence.What you'll bring to the Account Director role: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. 5+ years of experience in national, nonprofit, multi-channel, direct response fundraising required, preferably with an agency or a large national, nonprofit organization. Experience must include direct mail, digital marketing, digital acquisition, and telemarketing. 5 years' experience in a management or leadership position. Must have strong direct response knowledge. Exceptional talent for managing client relationships required. Excellent and persuasive written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with staff, community leaders and senior level executives required. Agency experience preferred, with a focus on partnering with nonprofit organizations, successfully advocating for the client and their donors. Ability to lead in a team environment to meet client fundraising goals. Ability to develop annual plans and projections, effective strategic planning capabilities. Ability to handle multiple complex projects in a deadline-driven environment; a resourceful self-starter who can take initiative and follow through on projects. Ability to remain calm and collected under pressure, adaptable and flexible in an ever-changing environment. Demonstrated ability to be a creative and resourceful problem solver. A strong ability to provide analysis and strategy for client services and to stay abreast of current industry trends, including post promotion analysis. Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, driven, and goal oriented. Demonstrated outstanding organizational, time management, and planning expertise.
