Job Description

Express is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail store team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving and guiding all aspects of the customer experience and store operations, while identifying, developing, and leading talent and teaching for the store team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Management: Attract, develop, and retain top talent by creating an environment that encourages high store morale, teamwork, and a 'one team' mentality.
  • Customer Experience: Build a store environment that consistently delivers exceptional customer experiences by leading, modeling, teaching, and coaching for consistent focus on customer engagement.
  • Execution: Analyze the business and execute clear action plans that optimize results, manage daily store operations, and ensure adherence to Company Policies and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Three to five years previous store management experience, including responsibility for annual sales volume of $3 million plus.
  • Proven ability to increase sales and store profitability.
  • Proven ability to network, recruit, interview, train, develop, and promote associates.
  • Ability to travel periodically for meetings.
  • Ability to move medium to large items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous retail experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and supervisors.
  • Demonstrated sales accountability.
  • Collaborative, respectful team member.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers and/or processes at once.
