ABOUT YOU: You are a curious, self-driven, results oriented HR business partner who seeks opportunities to add value to the company’s and internal customers' objectives by providing sound advice, timely counseling and executing HR initiatives in partnership with the HR ecosystems across the organization. You are a team player who can build effective relationships at all levels of the organization and is recognized by your ability to face business challenges with a solution-focused, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: Provide overall human resources support on areas such as talent management, career development, organizational design and effectiveness, performance management, employee relations, and total rewards. Development and implementation of HR initiatives that drive employee engagement and support short- and long-term business goals. Leverage knowledge of the competitive landscape to develop talent plans and to support the achievement of the overall business objectives. Collaborate with operational leaders and the center of excellence to ensure robust implementation of people strategies in all areas of focus. Provide advice and consultation for exempt and non-exempt employees on policy interpretation, performance coaching, conflict resolution, career development. Responsible for fostering a positive working environment where employees are comfortable addressing issues and concerns with their managers and HR. Work on special HR related projects as needed to drive efficiencies and roll out employee processes, including training and development initiatives for client groups as needed. YOU HAVE: BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience. Minimum of five (5) years of HR experience in an HRBP or generalist capacity, including talent, performance management, organizational development, compensation and employee relations. Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS systems – Workday a plus. Ability to work in a multicultural organization. Strong command of HR regulations, laws, and requirements with demonstrated ability to professionally handle and escalate as necessary. Team player and execution-focused; drives insights and ideas to implementation actions in a timely manner. Ability to manage ambiguity and lead change. Strong problem solving, project management and analytical skills. Spanish/English fluency required (oral and written). Prior media industry/streaming/tech experience in start-ups, a plus.
