Summary:

Day to Day:
  • Specifically for human resources and HR workers.
  • Converses with and asks questions of job applicants to select people meeting employer qualifications
  • Checks employment applications and examines work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants
  • Records additional knowledge, skills, abilities, interests, test results, and other data pertinent to selection and referral of applicants
  • Reviews job orders and matches applicants with job requirements, utilizing manual or computerized file search
What will be expected from you?
  • Take recruiting ownership of assigned job requisitions
  • Develop working relationships with Hiring Managers and HR community
  • Schedule intake calls with Hiring Manager, understand job requirements and interview process
  • Develop job averts for postings
  • Source and screen candidates. Submit qualified candidates to Hiring Managers
  • Schedule interviews and extend job offers
  • Manage recruiting process in our applicant tracking system (Workday)
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Five plus years of broad recruiting experience preferred. Experience working for a Chemical or manufacturing organization.
  • ATS experience, Workday is a plus
Top 3 Must-Have Skills:
  • Recruiting experience, whether as a dedicated recruiter or working in some sort of HR capacity.
  • Someone who has experience in manufacturing, who understands different Operator and Craft roles
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a must have.
