Senior Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team at Youth and Family Alternatives. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong time-management skills and in-depth understanding of HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage various HR functions, including Leave of Absence (LOA) management, oversight of external audits for funders/contracts, and employee relations.
- Supervise HR staff and assist with recruitment activities, including advertising, recruiting, and attending job fairs.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Children and Families/Department of Juvenile Justice (DCF/DJJ) requirements and handle Workers' Compensation claims.
- Conduct Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) effectively and assist with EEOC, Affirmative, and ACHA compliance, claims, and reports.
- Assist the Human Resources Director with reviewing and updating HR policies, including the employee handbook.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Direct experience in Human Resources Department.
- HR certificate preferred.
- Travel on a local and regional basis required.
