About the Job
Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop dynamic and engaging content to keep the team informed and engaged in all that is going on at AEG Vision. Manage our suite of communication tools and intranet site to deliver fresh, population targeted, material daily. Create and manage a communication calendar. Create a sense of community among our doctors, field and back-office associates.
Manages internal communications:
Develop and execute an internal communication plan and calendar to provide timely information.
Deliver content to specific associate populations within the organization. Doctors, Field, and Back-office.
Supports new initiatives throughout the organization to develop appropriate communication plans.
Manages all AEG communication platforms:
Intranet content management.
Task Management platform.
AEG Internal Social Media platforms.
Engagement:
Tracks communication saturation.
Drive associate engagement through two-way communication. Contests, content requests, Associate spotlights, etc.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications preferred.
5+ years of experience in a communications role.
Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Computer and Word Processing Skills (Microsoft Office programs) required. SharePoint experience is a plus
Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills.
Highly organized.
Superior project management and time management skills.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media.
Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.
