This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in quality engineering, continuous improvement methodologies, and ISO certification.Key Responsibilities:Quality Management•Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems specific to aluminum extrusion and fabrication in accordance with ISO standards.•Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.•Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and oversee corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to resolve quality issues.Continuous Improvement•Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency within the aluminum extrusion and fabrication processes.•Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement projects.•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement best practices in manufacturing processes.Process Monitoring and Control•Monitor and analyze production processes to ensure they meet established quality standards.•Implement statistical process control (SPC) and other quality control techniques to maintain product consistency and quality.•Develop and update process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process maps.Training and Development•Train and mentor employees on quality standards, continuous improvement practices, and ISO requirements specific to aluminum extrusion and fabrication.•Facilitate quality and continuous improvement workshops and training sessions to promote a culture of excellence.Customer Focus•Work closely with customers to understand their quality requirements and address any quality-related concerns.•Ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into continuous improvement activities to meet and exceed customer expectations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field or proven related experience.•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment (plus if you have aluminum extrusion or fabrication industry experience)•Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant ISO standards.•Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or equivalent certification preferred.•Proven experience in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.•Proficiency in quality management software and tools.What We Offer•Competitive salary and benefits package.•Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.•A collaborative and inclusive work environment.•The chance to make a significant impact on the quality and efficiency of our aluminum extrusion and fabrication processes.
