Human Resources Recruiter

Job Responsibilities

1-year experience with ADP recruitment software or equivalent experience with HRIS and recruitment software

Knowledge of current employment laws for hiring and terminating employees

Must know how to complete the form I-9 manually if needed and understand the current legal requirements for completing the I-9

Daily meetings with Area Coordinators (A/C's) in regards to status and hiring needs

Creating, assigning and updating job requisitions within ADP

Forward qualified candidates from ADP to Area Coordinator's.

Maintaining candidates and hiring status within ADP

Provide A/C’s daily updates on the hiring process

Receive and respond to multiple phone calls a day in regards to employment & onboarding

Adapting to ADP through videos and learning resources sponsored by ADP

Trouble shooting ADP technical issues as needed

Coordinate with ADP Recruitment Specialist as needed for assistance with onboarding processes and questions

Contact local and surrounding area AJCC’s for recruitment services

Contact local Colleges for recruitment services

Post positions on local Job Boards (Colleges, City Hall, etc.)

Networking by looking for local events (job fairs etc.), passing out flyers and business cards & and sharing job openings

Review & pre-screen candidates that apply online through ADP

Conduct Reference Checks for potential candidates

Manual onboarding as a back up if ADP electronic onboarding system is down (Occasional)

Send candidates Job Offer letters & Onboarding Link

Check Onboarding Documents for Accuracy

I-9: Verify employee's chosen required documents, complete employer's section, upload & print documents to validate

Facilitate Zoom meetings (Recruitment & Onboarding)

Follow up with candidates during onboarding (Sending Reminders & Calling)

Review DMV reports for SLS and Kern new hires, notify supervisor if there is a record

Review Live Scan results and update the Live Scan log

Complete Process to become a Live Scan Custodian of Records through the DOJ. Once approved to be a COR, the HRR is responsible for reviewing the L/S records for new hires, updating the L/S/drug test log and notify supervisor if there is a record

Schedule interviews and training meetings

Update Job Descriptions within ADP

Creating & Manipulating job offer letters in ADP

Creating & Manipulating no hire letters, and other documents

Phone calls to speak with candidates in regards to onboarding

Assist candidates with electronic onboarding (Special Circumstances)

Scanning and uploading documents as needed for reporting & ADP document storage

Making copies & scanning documents in regards to Recruitment & Onboarding

Fax, Email, and Phone Calls to Verify Employment

Printing Documents for file folders & payroll etc.

Creating & Manipulating Spreadsheets & Documents

Preparing for Hiring Events:

Make copies of flyers and job descriptions, prepare all promotional material, packing multiple items in regards to recruiting (3 handbags & 2 luggage type bags including a laptop).

Prepare vehicle and fill up with gas and making sure it is freeway ready.

Field Recruitment Catchment Areas: East L.A., San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita.

Proof of valid Drivers License, vehicle insurance, vehicle registration and reliable personal transportation is required

Occasional out of area travel is required (East Los Angeles).

Pay Range:

$22.00 - $25.00 hourly
