Position Supervisor: Human Resources Manager

Purpose

Provide administrative support to the HR department & Company employees. Communicate and assist employees with requests providing excellent employee customer service.

Responsibilities

Create, organize & maintain personnel records in paper and electronic format.
Assist with recruiting, scheduling interviews and setting up background checks.
Scheduling and assisting with onboarding activities.
General HR support including fielding employee questions and concerns with sensitivity and urgency.
Maintain attendance records for hourly employees.
Enter training records and run reports as needed.
Assist in with planning and coordination of employee relation activities (holiday parties, picnics, etc.)
Update and follow-up on hourly employee reviews.
Phone duties as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certifications

High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience working in Human Resources, prefer manufacturing environment, mid-sized organization or larger and demonstrated excellent office/administrative skills.
Experience working with HRIS systems for mid-sized or larger organizations.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact diplomatically and effectively deal with outside vendors and diverse employees. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers, managers, including employees and managers at remote sites.
Proven skill and experience using MS Office applications to execute daily tasks and effectively communicate.
