Customer Service/ Order Entry Specialist

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service/Order Entry Specialist within our team. This role is based in Newark, New Jersey, 07102, United States. The job function entails processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries within a call center setting. Responsibilities: Entering orders into computer system correctly and on a timely basis Pricing and confirming all entered orders back to customer on a timely basis Following up on any and all and any questions from Customers Updating Customer on all shortages /changes on their PO's Updating Logistics Dept(manager) on all late orders/ revisions/ or cancelations Reviewing inventory status for Po's entered if necessary Contacting customer on all past due invoice weekly or at time of order placement if necessary Uploading signed bill of ladings into DocLink on a timely basis Retrieving any BOL's from DocLink from system if required Responsible for any other duties assigned by Customer Service Manage Requirements Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a call center environment Proficiency in order entry and handling customer pricing queries Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve customer issues in a timely manner Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and accuracy in order entry and record-keeping Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
