Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AP Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our real estate portfolio by processing invoices, managing vendor relations, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will be a key contributor to our team's success
Responsibilities
Process invoices related to real estate operations (rent, maintenance, property taxes, etc.) for accuracy and completeness
Verify purchase orders and receiving reports for real estate properties
Code invoices according to our company's real estate-specific chart of accounts
Manage vendor relations for real estate vendors and inquire about any discrepancies
Prepare and issue outgoing payments for real estate-related expenses
Reconcile bank statements for accounts associated with real estate properties
Maintain detailed records of all real estate-related AP transactions
Assist with month-end closing procedures for real estate accounts
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable (AP) or a similar role
Proven experience working in the real estate industry (a plus)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and real estate accounting practices
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi Voyager)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
