Job Overview:
  • Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Measure organizational performance; assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
  • Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
  • Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization's spending.
  • Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders.
  • Manage finances across multiple funding types.
  • Track budgets, costs, and variances. Produce executive summaries.
  • Conduct financial reporting and analyses on financial issues and customer requirements.
  • Interpret and apply financial management principles.
  • Apply financial management processes, techniques, policies, regulations and organizational strategic goals.
Requirements:
  • Years of related experience breakdown:
    • Junior level (1 - 4 years experience)
    • Mid-level (5 years - 9 years experience)
    • Senior Level (10 years +)
  • Completed degree a nice to have but not required
  • Prior gov con experience also nice to have but will consider public sector/commercial backgrounds as well We will train
  • US Citizenship required and willingness to obtain a sponsored clearance
  • Must be local to the Metro DC/NOVA area.
