Acquisition Management Opportunity

The Challenge:

Support pre- and post-award DoD contracts and contribute to the acquisition life cycle. Work closely with U.S. Navy clients to aid in the acquisition of necessary resources for optimal end strength and ensure mission success.

Your Role:

  • Provide acquisition and program life cycle support to a U.S. Navy client.
  • Coordinate with requirements teams, COR, and contracting staff to assist with acquisition strategies planning and execution.
  • Support market research, RFPs, RFIs, contract modifications, and technical instructions.
  • Monitor and report contract performance, including tracking contract obligations, invoices, award fees, and deliveries.
  • Deliver acquisition expertise regarding statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting project success.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with DoD acquisition management.
  • Experience working with senior government staff at the program executive officer or project manager level.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the U.S. Navy.
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and the Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Experience with DOD Acquisition Pathways.
  • Experience with contract writing systems, including SPS.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with limited supervision and be a self-starter.
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • CFCM or DAWIA CON Certification.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
