About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Federal Acquisition Management Professional to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our defense acquisition team, you will play a critical role in supporting the warfighter by aiding in the acquisition of all necessary resources for optimal end strength.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage pre-award contract administration for the program office, analyzing requirements and supporting the drafting of acquisition documentation.
  • Advise on emergent post-award contractual issues and track pending and active contract actions.
  • Responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents.
  • Grow acquisition expertise regarding statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting project success.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in DoD contract management or contract administration.
  • 5+ years of experience with drafting pre-award acquisition documents and post-award contract management documents.
  • Experience with navigating and using the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations System (DFARS).
  • Knowledge of contract concepts and contract acquisition laws and regulations.
  • Ability to independently draft all pre-award documentation for a Request for Proposal package.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a FAR COR II, Contracting Officer, or Contract Specialist.
  • Experience with supporting the Navy or NAVSEA Program Office.
  • Experience in Agile contracting.
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) Certification.
