This is a contract position supporting our client, a power utility company. Since 1990, Excel Engineering, Inc. has differentiated its services from that of its competition. We provide engineering solutions to achieve our client’s business objectives. We offer full-service Electrical & Controls System Engineering Consulting services. We operate in the US and abroad. The Grant Management Specialist will work with our client to support their funding flow pipeline. Our client is looking to fill multiple roles spanning the funding flow pipeline. This ranges from funding evaluation and pursuit decision, through award negotiations and management. Primary Responsibilities Coordinate projects related to client funding pursuits and manage these pursuits from evaluation through award. Research, assess, and facilitate possible funding opportunities. Manage list of possible funding opportunities. Negotiate awarded grants. Coordinate internal teams to support funding application submittals. Manage cross-functional teams ranging from 5-10 individuals. Requirements Five (5) or more years of Grant Writing/Program Management experience preferred. Five (5) or more years of experience with Project Management/Delivery. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel skills preferred. Experience with Microsoft Planner preferred. Experience managing/coordinating cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills. Employees will be required to be in the office 3 days per week. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
