- Support all Vehicle Line Export/Import program meetings, including Export PAT.
- Facilitate communication between VME Manufacturing Team and MP&L NAVL (North American Vehicle Logistics) regarding any proposed Port content.
- Evaluate feasibility for new Port processes and work with PD to incorporate changes for manufacturing.
- Publish/Upload/Revise/Maintain PMCIS's (Port Modification Center Instruction Sheets)
- All Vehicle Lines (Import/Export)
- Travel to various locations when required to tryout tools, view parts, take photos, etc. to support process sheet development.
- Support PPL Audits and Compliance Requirements
- Train N.A. Port Modification Centers on new vehicle program (import/export) port modification processes
- Support new vehicle launches (import/export) at N.A. Port Modification Centers
- Facilitate communication between N.A. Port Modification Centers and Plant/Engineering teams with respect to issues at the ports
- Support current tools at N.A. Port Modification Centers (VIN Stamping Machines, Power Point Removal tools, etc.)
- Travel is occasionally required to Ports for Training, Okay To Ship, Issue Resolution, or other needs. Typically, less than once per quarter.
Skills Required:
Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent communication skills.
Train N.A. Port Modification Centers on new vehicle program (import/export) port modification processes
Support new vehicle launches (import/export) at N.A. Port Modification Centers
Experience Required:
Experience assessing assembly feasibility and writing process sheets. Experience with vehicle assembly processes. Familiarity with final assembly tooling.
