Role Mission:

Role Scope:
The Head of Corporate Communications will lead the communications team, manage external and internal communications, and serve as the primary spokesperson for the company. The media narrative is accurate with consistent presence for the Sunnova Brand, relevantly placed in influential outlets showing corporate leadership in the energy sector.
Strategic media relations are maintained to enhance brand visibility and manage public perception effectively across diverse outlets and content platforms.
Crisis communication plans are robust and tested, ready to deploy to mitigate potential negative impacts swiftly.
Lead curation and syndication of content to influence Sunnovas perception in the market.
Manage traditional and social media content, positioning, and placement.
Oversee and manage Sunnovas speaking opportunities, placing the appropriate individuals at the most influential events.
Have, build, and foster a network of media contacts throughout various media that learn, understand, position, communicate and advocate for the Sunnova story.
Create and manage all necessary strategy, content, briefing and other materials necessary to drive initiatives; manage employee media training,
Select and manage appropriate third-party agencies and consultants, as necessary, to drive gain access to and maintain communications initiatives.
Own corporate communications calendar, identifying, creating, and managing relevant brand building, thematic communication campaigns.
Analytically measure influence, media coverage, messaging, investments, and performance, utilizing insights to fine tune strategy and tactics.
Support Investor Relations Support
Outcome: Communications strategies effectively support the company's investor communications characterized by clarity, consistency, and transparency, enhancing investor confidence and perception.

Act as resource for IR team as necessary.
Support Governmental Affairs

Regular interactions with governmental affairs stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely communication.
Compliance with all regulatory communication requirements is meticulously upheld to avoid legal pitfalls and build a reputation for integrity.
Support Internal Communications
Outcome: Communications and coverage are assimilated and shared with HR / Internal Communications team for distribution through internal communication programs and outlets.
Manage media tracking / clipping service.
Provide ELT / SLT media summaries with insights on trends.
Regular interactions with HR / internal communications stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely communication.
