We are seeking a Head of Corporate Compensation Strategy to join our dynamic team at Insperity. This pivotal role is integral to our Corporate Human Resource team, focusing on the design, execution, and management of competitive and fair compensation and rewards programs that align with our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the Corporate HR Compensation team, overseeing all relevant programs and processes.
- Lead the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive compensation programs, including base salary, variable pay, and equity compensation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, offering expert guidance on compensation-related issues such as offer approvals, salary adjustments, promotions, and incentive plans.
- Design and deliver communication strategies and training initiatives to educate leaders and employees on compensation policies and total rewards offerings.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis of compensation practices across various industries and regions to ensure competitiveness and compliance with regulations.
- Support the Wage & Salary Committee by preparing new and revised job descriptions and making recommendations regarding compensation programs.
- Oversee the annual review process for compensation activities, including salary structures and merit planning.
- Stay informed on legislative changes and industry trends that impact compensation practices, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the Talent team to integrate compensation programs with Insperity's performance management processes, fostering a culture of pay-for-performance.
- Utilize data analytics to provide insights into compensation trends, cost analysis, and the effectiveness of compensation programs.
- Build collaborative partnerships across departments to align work with common objectives.
- Recognize the need for change within the department and oversee the development of change management plans.
- Embrace and practice the mission of the Corporate HR department to engage strategically with leaders and employees, enhancing company culture and community impact.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of ten years of experience in Compensation is essential.
- Five to seven years of experience in a managerial role is required.
- Demonstrated experience in leading compensation programs within a large, complex organization.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and trends, diagnose issues, and recommend effective solutions.
- Proven capability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience with HRIS and compensation management systems (e.g., Workday) is preferred.
