Aluminum Precision Products (APP) is an international leader in manufacturing aluminum forgings. We are looking for an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist responsible for supporting all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at APP.
Job Requirements:
Aid in developing Health and Safety Programs and Procedures
Conduct or direct testing of air quality, noise, and temperature
Develop a Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
Perform Root Cause Analysis for Industrial Accidents
Experience with regulatory reporting to DTSC, AQMD, State water Boards, Fire Dept. etc
Recommend process and product safety features
Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment
Assist in the investigation of industrial accidents
Conduct worker training in safety areas
Provide technical advice and guidance
Interpret safety regulations
Plan and conduct industrial hygiene research
Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time
Skill Requirements:
Must have prior HSE experience in a manufacturing setting
Experience working with regulatory agencies
In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person
Intermediate Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
Highly detailed, organized and deadline-oriented
Communicate effectively with employees at all levels
Compensation:
$28.00 - $35.00 an hour. APP is an ESOP Company offering excellent benefits.
