Job Summary

As a key member of our sales and operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the branches by responding to customer inquiries and concerns, resolving customer complaints, and managing communication between customers, branches, and outside sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directs the flow of deliveries/pickups and performs supporting administrative duties.
  • Communicates delivery capabilities and expectations.
  • Predicts, manages, and escalates order fulfillment drawbacks or complications.
  • Manages the dispatch of vehicles to maximize the efficiency of order fulfillment.
  • Receives and responds to all customer inquiries, orders, and complaints.
  • Generates all sales operations documents and distributes to respective departments.
  • Maintains communication with drivers to expedite deliveries.
  • Responsible for guiding, assisting, and elevating complaint resolution to ensure that customers are properly served.
  • Provides customers and other branches with any data and backup data as requested.
  • Follows up on a regular and as-needed basis with customers, branches, and shop/yard operations on all open and unresolved customer issues.
  • Reports on all out-of-line conditions affecting customer satisfaction.
  • May take after-hours calls and document any complaints for resolution.
  • Assists in inventory and cycle counts.
  • Assists in directing and prioritizing logistics of deliveries/pickups and related sales support duties.
  • May open and/or close operations facilities in some branches.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years' experience working as an Inside Sales Rep or on a sales desk, preferably in the construction equipment industry.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
