Location Information

Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our four Twin Cities communities:New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury.

The New Hope care center has 168 skilled nursing beds for long-term and transitional care. In addition, the Residence at Saint Therese of New Hope houses 225 independent apartments and suites for assisted living and memory care.

Qualifications:

Education: High-School diploma, associates degree (preferred)

Experience: One year minimum staffing experience in a high volume nursing department required. Previous senior care experience preferred. Previous payroll experience beneficial.Previous experience scheduling in a union environment is beneficial.

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong detail-orientation, organization and clerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft-PC based and other software for work processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics and scheduling.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information (both in written and oral form) clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, and uses appropriate lines of authority.
  • Ability to deal with conflict in a positive manner. Has an awareness of, responds to, and considers the needs, feelings and capabilities of others.
  • Ability to deal with frequent interruptions, high level of stress and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to be accountable for quality customer service and respond appropriately to a variety of personalities and situations.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize workload, using time effectively to achieve expected productivity and efficiency.
  • Strong detail-orientation, organization and clerical skills.
