Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing setting and at least an associate degree in engineering. This role is critical to ensuring the efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1 - Production Support:

- Provide technical support to the production team to troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.

- Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment.

2 - Project Management:

- Lead and manage engineering projects from conception through to completion.

- Monitor project progress, track expenses, and ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.

3 - Robotics Integration:

- Operate and program robotic systems for the production of grille guards.

- Engage in the development and implementation of robotic technology across the plant to improve efficiency and

quality.

- Train other staff on robotic operation and maintenance, ensuring they are proficient in using the technology.

4 - Quality Control:

- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

- Implement quality control measures and perform root cause analysis on production defects.

- Work with the quality control team to develop and maintain quality documentation.

5 - Process Improvement:

- Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.

- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

- Work with other key stake holders to develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).

6 - Health and Safety:

- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with health and safety regulations.

- Provide training to production staff on safety practices and equipment use.

7 - Leadership and Training:

- Assist with training and managing production employees to ensure they are well-versed in operating procedures and best practices.

- Foster a positive work environment and influence company culture alignment among production staff.

- Act as a mentor to junior engineers and production employees, providing guidance and support.

Qualifications:

- Education:

- Minimum of an associate degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field preferred).

- Experience:

- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.

- Experience with lean manufacturing, process improvement, and quality control methodologies.

- Experience with robotic systems and automation in a manufacturing setting.
