Job Description:

Ledgent Finance of Sacramento is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with strong Excel skills for a temp-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounts payable processes, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and timely

Match invoices to purchase orders and verify receipt of goods/services

Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts

Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and statements

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date

Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues with vendors

Maintain vendor files and documentation

Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting

Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting

Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role

Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred)

Experience with accounting software with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred

Pay: $28 - $32 per hr.
