  • This role is essential to supporting the company's IT needs, reporting directly to the IT Manager, who is highly hands-on
Overview of the IT Support Specialist Role:
  • Provide deskside support, including imaging computers and handling day-to-day technical issues
  • Work closely with physicians and other staff, addressing their IT concerns directly on-site
  • Manage a wide range of tasks, from fixing hardware to configuring Active Directory, ensuring smooth operations across multiple locations
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to address strategic IT initiatives while still being ready to handle hands-on support tasks
  • Expect to travel between locations, primarily across the Farmington, Windsor, Plainville, and surrounding areas
Preferred Qualifications for the IT Support Specialist:
  • 2+ years of experience with Active Directory, Application Support, and Hardware Support
  • Ability to manage tough conversations with patience and a calm demeanor
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision
  • No specific degree requirement, but candidates with strong technical skills and a "no job too small" mindset are preferred
  • Must be comfortable working in a small team environment with limited upward mobility
