Cranberry Township, PA

. This is a hybrid 6-month contract position.

This role pays $24-30 /hour W2 based on experience.

Candidates must be local to Cranberry Township, PA and will need to work onsite at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision, performs bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Posts journal or voucher entries, reconciles accounts, and checks for accuracy. Verifies, sorts, posts, and checks claims, bills, invoices, and vouchers. Frequently reports to an Accounting Supervisor. Performs light clerical duties within an accounting function. May type, match payments, check items on purchase orders, prepare bank deposits and perform other routine calculations with specific instructions. Performs basic accounting functions requiring knowledge of accounts payable and receivable and of bank reconciliation functions. Answers customer inquiries. Researches problems and/or complaints. Creates and edits spreadsheets. Can perform any combination of routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. Requirements:

Typically requires a high school education or equivalent. Have 10-key skills by touch or sight. Is familiar with computers (and basic principles of A/P or A/R). If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply
