ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Deal Desk Manager at LiveView Technologies plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and sales efficiency by streamlining the deal process, optimizing deal structures, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. This position requires a strong understanding of B2B sales, contract negotiation, and pricing strategies. You will be responsible for building the strategic direction, implementing and optimizing processes and tools for scale and efficiency, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. You will partner with sales, finance, accounting, legal, and revenue operations to build productive relationships and ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for LiveView Technologies and our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, execute, and optimize the deal desk strategy to support revenue generation by implementing scalable processes for deal approvals, deal shaping, and deal escalations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to sales on deal structure, pricing, discounts, and business terms, ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance legal, revenue operations, and, at times, the LVT leadership team, to align deal desk efforts with overall business objectives
  • Hire, lead, and mentor a global team of Deal Desk Specialists, providing guidance on complex deal structures, pricing negotiations, and contract terms.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Deal Desk function to streamline processes, enhance responsiveness, and maintain compliance.
  • Develop enablement programs and materials for sales teams alongside LVT's Sales Enablement team in order to enhance deal structuring capabilities and understanding of pricing strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience in deal desk management, with a track record of building and scaling deal desk processes.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business metrics and the ability to apply them in deal structuring and strategy (Hardware as a Service experience a plus).
  • Deep experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and SalesForce CPQ, collaborating with Business Systems and Systems Administrators to relay process enhancements and design an exceptional deal desk system.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop creative solutions on the fly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent work experience
