The Database and Donor Management Specialist will work on and with the development team to execute strategic initiatives aimed at engaging, stewarding, and expanding our donor base. This is a part-time position with a hybrid work schedule, including at least one day in the office per week. Job Duties: Gift Processing and Acknowledgment: Process donations, ensure proper categorization, and accurately record all financial transactions in the donor database. Database Management: Utilize the database (Bloomerang) to maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records, track interactions, and generate comprehensive reports for analysis. Stewardship: Develop and implement donor move management plans within the database to ensure donors feel valued and appreciated for their contributions. Communication: Collaborate on marketing and communications content to create compelling content for donor communications. Campaign Support: Assist in the backend planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives aimed at achieving annual fundraising goals. Donor Events: Coordinate and participate in donor events, fundraisers, cultivation activities, and other engagement opportunities as needed to support the department and organization. Relationship Management: Passively build and maintain positive relationships with existing donors, sponsors, and supporters, ensuring their continued engagement with the organization. Reporting: Provide regular updates on donor engagement and relevant metrics to the development team and leadership. Requirements/Qualifications: Passion for the nonprofit sector and a commitment to the mission and values of The Lift Garage. Experience in database management and the donor life cycle, OR the desire, capacity, and comfort to grow into this field. Familiarity with donor management software, preferably Bloomerang, for database management and reporting. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling donor communications. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build authentic and lasting relationships. Detail-oriented and well-organized. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Telephone and computer skills and ability to quickly learn job-specific software. Specific experience with and knowledge of cars is not required. Position Details and How to Apply: Salary & Benefits:

This is a part-time (20 hours/week), non-exempt (hourly) position with an hourly rate of $22.66/hour (or $23,566/year). Part-time benefits include: Paid holiday, paid vacation (60 hours the first year), and sick time off (40 hours/year). Mileage/travel will also be reimbursed at the government rate. Retirement savings includes an employer contribution (non-match, vested immediately) of 4% to a 403(b). Location:

Minneapolis, MN. This position includes a hybrid work schedule, including at least one day in the office per week. When in-person activities are required, there is an expectation that the person in this position can travel within and around the metro area in a reasonable amount of time. Days & Hours:

Typical workdays are Monday-Friday, and hours are flexible & negotiable, although typically between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. Some evenings and weekends will be expected. May occasionally be eligible for extra hours in a pay period. How to Apply:
