Job Description:

A large financial institution is seeking a Database Engineer to join a high priority regulatory reporting project. This individual will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation and maintenance of a new Snowflake database design. In their day to day, they will be working alongside a team of four other individuals, assembling complex datasets and creating analytical tools within the new database to deliver on key business requirements as outlined by stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing OLTP and OLAP databases, specifically focusing on Snowflake. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to design scalable and efficient database solutions that meet the business needs. This person should be an excellent communicator and feel comfortable holding high level conversations with business partners to explain project progress, functionality, and forecasted paths to success.
