SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Consultant (TAC) at National Heritage Academies (NHA) is a part of the Talent Acquisition Department, a team that supports 100+ schools managed by NHA. The primary function of a TAC is to partner with hiring managers as they manage the recruiting process associated with hiring top talent school staff. TACs have the opportunity to impact schools directly as they are responsible for explaining our organization and company culture, building great relationships and providing strong customer service to all our clients, both internal and external. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitate all aspects of the recruiting process including but not limited to conducting intake sessions, screening and evaluation of candidates, and offer negotiations. Build business relationships with hiring managers to allow for consultation and training on hiring best practices. Provide strategic staffing solutions and offer recommendations to hiring managers. Maintain awareness of current events tied to education and market knowledge of the TAC’s assignment. Build candidate relationship, articulating the benefits of the role and the organization. Direct the daily activities of a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to ensure high levels of customer service. Travel (15%) consists of attending school visits, networking, professional development, and university-level career events. Act as a brand ambassador and promote NHA as an employer of choice through career events, seminars, and day-to-day communications. Adjust work availability during peak seasons to ~50 hours per week including nights and weekends as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communications, business, or a related discipline is preferred. 2+ years of experience with recruiting and applicant tracking systems, preferred. Build consultative relationships with hiring managers. Exhibit high energy, enthusiasm, and emotional intelligence. Must have tenacity, resilience, and a positive attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capacity to manage confidential information and professionalism at all times. Excellent organization, planning, and time management. Ability to balance and delegate competing priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
