Guide the team as it scales to grow these services across the global event portfolio, providing support to not only corporate flagship programming, but regional, industry and 3rd party programming as well. Drive the event content and demo operations team in their development of the learning infrastructure onsite and off, aligning to the broader organization’s goals and objectives, while showing strength in cross-functional project management and delivering outstanding event experiences for customers and partners. Prepare, present and drive consensus around a concise, data-driven vision for Event Services with each event program or series managed by the global event portfolio, and manage a consistent drumbeat of communication that aligns all stakeholders to program requirements and updates, folding into all outbound and internal communications workflows as necessary. Skills & Qualifications 10-12+ years of experience in building cohesive event experiences – from ideation to execution – in a complex, cross-functional B2B environment. The focus of that work must in part be on content strategy and operations, registration, demo development and operations, and other first-touch experiences, demonstrating an ability to leverage data and event feedback to build a compelling and relevant experience, present and drive consensus among senior leaders, and drive a disciplined, collaborative process that ensures alignment across lines of business. 5-7+ years of managing cross-functional event teams with a history of developing a cohesive, data-driven vision for front-of-house services, as well as building an inclusive, motivating team culture, and ensuring a consistent, collaborative approach to aligning multifaceted business priorities with event objectives. Passion for taking calculated risks, while driving consensus across teams. Function naturally as part of large, sophisticated virtual team. Excel at balancing the broader strategic picture with day-to-day execution. Demonstrate respect for others, and both values and actively solicits different perspectives to build collaborative, lasting relationships. Operate with integrity, honesty, and fairness while thriving in a fast-moving, high-pressure, challenging, and evolving environment. Direct, hands-on management experience with attendee-facing registration and event content management systems. Proficient in a variety of professional applications (Zoom, Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn Oracle proprietary systems.
