Position Summary

This position is responsible for enhancing the company image with specific customers and managing orders/accounts to drive profitable growth. The Account Manager oversees regional coordination of customer account management activities and serves as the point person for account development, including regional opportunity development, customer-specific due diligence, costing, and pricing.

Key Functions and Responsibilities

Generate and manage price quotations with supporting tool and pricing breakdowns. Handle purchase order processing, entry, tracking, and invoicing. Provide direct and/or indirect support to the Customer Business Unit. Participate in CBU and Business Group acquisition activities related to customer-specific requirements (forecasting, capacity/footprint planning, technology offerings), monitor results, and revise award packages to help achieve future growth objectives. Interact as necessary with internal functional groups: Engineering, NVH, Finance, Program Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Costing. Ensure daily business engagements align with our regulations for Conduct of Business Relationships. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Experience, Skills, & Abilities

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. 2 or more years of successful sales experience in the automotive industry preferred; experience with acoustic/thermal management products is beneficial. Knowledgeable about the market, with awareness of business development opportunities and competitive threats. Ability to motivate and influence others. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. Ability to travel up to 15% (US and International). Proficiency in regional language skills (e.g., English in NA). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write detailed reports, analyses, and correspondence, and effectively present information and respond to questions from senior managers, customers, and suppliers. Ability to organize thoughts and priorities under pressure. Basic math skills required. Proficient in MS Office applications, Internet, and E-mail.
