Responsibilities of the Business Development Director:

Coordinating pursuits, building customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and win new business. Plan and assist with market analysis, strategic development, manage the execution of the strategy, and monitor progress toward organizational objectives. Provide analysis and strategic leadership enabling the organization to understand important quantitative and qualitative factors in the development of business and portfolio analysis, key customer needs, and other overall market and technical environmental analysis. Maintain management of capture and proposal activities, including pursuit status, teaming decisions, pricing and win strategies. Develop new sales areas and improve sales through various methods. Bachelor’s degree (BA) in marketing, communication, business, or related field preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in sales related role or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive knowledge of production and inventory control, material and capacity requirements planning and master planning. Experience in managing customer revenue growth and commercial management/execution. 25% domestic travel.
