About us: Golden Lighting, a nationally recognized brand, is a growing company of about 40 employees specializing in the design and manufacture of residential lighting products. We are a privately held company (not a publicly traded one), which means we make business decisions that benefit our employees and customers instead of focusing on increasing the share value of outside investors. We are also not a start-up company that could close shop if the next round of venture capital doesn't come through. One of our core values is being innovative within our industry, and we are constantly researching new product trends, more streamlined ways of operating, and new technologies to develop. As Golden Lighting is in an exciting growth phase, we are searching for a knowledgeable Senior Accountant to monitor our books and help us make strategic financial moves for the future.

About this position: The Senior Accountant will serve as a key financial steward for the organization, responsible for preparing and interpreting comprehensive financial reports, providing strategic investment advice, and maintaining the company's overall financial health. This role will ensure compliance with accounting regulations, manage financial risks, and conduct analytics to support informed decision-making.

The Senior Accountant will develop budgets, provide financial forecasts, and oversee critical financial operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll. By leveraging their expertise in financial management and analysis, the Accountant will play a crucial role in guiding the company's fiscal strategy, recommending courses of action for financial improvement, and supporting the organization's long-term growth objectives. This position requires a blend of technical accounting skills, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities to effectively manage financial operations and contribute to the company's success.

We think you'll succeed and be a good fit for this position if you:
