Your Opportunity:

The

Strategy and Business Operations Manager

drives critical initiatives across multiple teams within the Fabrication Technology (FabTech) business platform at ESAB Corporation. They complement and support product, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and core operations by providing analytical, operational, planning and strategic support.

What you will do: Lead cross-functional efforts to help drive high-priority outcomes across the business, through the deployment of ESABs operational and analytical systems and processes (ESAB Business Excellence - EBX) Coordinate the annual strategic planning cycle for FabTech, helping to cultivate: organic growth initiatives across product lines and geographic regions to boost top and bottom-line growth. other key operational and business initiatives to support long-term goals.

Monitor and check progress on strategic priorities within FabTech. Provide insights into the defined strategies and budgets, determining the potential consequences and reporting about it. Assess, validate, and consolidate all vital business information to prepare reports and presentations to the President of the FabTech platform and his executive leadership team. Work closely with the Corporate Business Development team to support M&A due diligence and integration efforts of any newly acquired businesses. Eventually spin out to take on full ownership of a given role, team, or opportunity within FabTech or the broader ESAB Corporation.

Strong leadership capability with proven ability to engage and communicate with people at all levels and across different cultures as we operate in a multinational environment. Able to facilitate change management at all levels within the organization. Proven experience in serving industrial companies across a diverse range of strategic, commercial, marketing, supply chain and manufacturing footprint issues. Proven problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills on complex senior management issues.

Education and Experience Requirements: MBA is desired. Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent discipline. Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills. Minimum 3 years of strategic consulting or global project management experience, preferably from a top-tier consulting firm (senior associate, engagement manager level).
