Come join the MicroAire Team We are seeking a Design Verification Engineer:
Responsibilities:
Develops Plans for the Appropriate Verification and Validation (testing) of new products, line extensions, and product redesigns.
Requirements:
Comprehensive mechanical design skills and full understanding of related FDA and international standards required.
Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering required.
Verification Testing experience in a Medical Device industry preferred (internship experience applies).
Proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modeling, preferably Solidworks and knowledge of ANSI 14.5 drafting standards desired.
Basic knowledge of factors that affect life of re-usable surgical instruments, such as corrosion, wear and thermal cycling desired.
