Project Engineering Specialist in Construction

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Engineering Specialist supports the project team in achieving established timelines while ensuring the delivery of high-quality results in a cost-effective manner. This role involves maintaining project management software and providing both technical and administrative guidance to align with corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in the development and revision of all assigned project timelines, including those for subcontractors and material deliveries.
- Participates in pre-construction processes such as quantity take-offs, solicitation of bids, evaluation of bids, negotiations with subcontractors, and the compilation of the final project budget.
- Helps to sustain the project timeline by tracking progress, coordinating activities, and addressing issues as they arise.
- Prioritizes tasks to ensure a seamless workflow throughout the project, overseeing the responsibilities assigned to team members and subcontractors.
- Assists in reviewing and processing monthly payment requests.
- Reviews and updates project specification manuals.
- Generates project status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; offers recommendations for action.
- Creates project closeout documentation for clients and property management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in construction science, construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in the construction sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Exceptional communication, computer, and organizational skills are essential.
