Summary

I.T. Compliance Analyst Golden Entertainment

Under the direction of the Director of IT - VMO & Telecommunications, primary responsibility for ensuring the company's IT systems, processes, policies and procedures are in compliance with the various regulatory agencies, including; Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), applicable Gaming Control Boards, Payment Card Industry Security Standards (PCI), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other relevant federal agencies.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Director of IT - VMO & Telecommunications, develop and maintain I.T. policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Director of IT - VMO & Telecommunications on the completion of audit requests for documentation, responses and remediation relative to; applicable Gaming Control Boards, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Payment Card Industry Security Standards (PCI), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other relevant federal agencies.
  • Perform audit of IT policies, procedures, and processes
  • Identify and gather data required to meet audit reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and update IT audit related processes and procedures, including auditing, documentation and remediation of associated findings. Coordinate IT team member efforts on enforcement and completion of same.
  • Serve as the corporate liaison between enterprise IT teams and the various regulatory groups listed herein, thus ensuring response accuracy and consistency.
  • Make recommendations to Corporate IT leadership for the improvement of compliance remediation procedures
  • Perform third party (vendors, contractors, consultants) risk and responsibility assessments.
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Qualifications
  • Two years experience in an IT compliance role.
  • Strong compliance working knowledge, including regulations and standards as they relate to
Nevada's Gaming Control Board, SOX and PCI. HIPAA working knowledge a plus.
  • General knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA preferred.
  • Previous experience in a casino/hotel resort environment preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work after normal business hours as required
  • Reliable transportation is required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information sciences from a four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements
  • Lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, bending/kneeling, continuously standing and walking (about 50% of the time)
  • Sitting at a desk or table (up to 50% of the time)
  • Proven ability to lift, pull or push and at times carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of concentration over an extended period of time
  • Vision, speech, hearing, and literacy (critical)
