Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Financial Analyst - Financial Compliance to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring the company's financial practices adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in financial compliance and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of internal controls and compliance procedures.
  • Monitor financial transactions and identify any discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Conduct research and analysis related to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts and other departments to ensure adherence to compliance policies.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for internal audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training programs for staff.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or relevant work experience in financial analysis or compliance.
  • Familiarity with financial compliance software and tools.
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory bodies and financial reporting standards.
