Location and Work Type: Remote with potential for hybrid work

Role Summary:
As a Security Analyst III, you will be at the forefront of our client's security operations, monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents and threats within the organization’s network and systems. You will also play a key role in conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analysis to ensure ongoing compliance with security policies and standards. Working closely with the Security Manager and other team members, you will help implement and maintain security best practices and solutions, contributing to a robust and resilient security posture.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of five years of experience in security operations, analysis, or engineering.
Strong expertise in network and system security, including firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection and prevention, encryption, authentication, and access control.
Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and forensic tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret security data and logs to identify and resolve security issues.
Ability to conduct thorough security research and stay updated on the latest security threats and trends.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
Desired Qualifications:
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or GCIH.
