Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 / hour
Description
- Ensures a positive work environment in alignment with Trinidad Benham values, policies and procedures, and government rules and regulations.
- Provide training and direction to administrative staff.
- Ensures compliance with company safety policies and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Champions continuous improvement of the department by looking for opportunities and by soliciting feedback from the team.
- Maintains communication with other departments and champions a spirit of teamwork.
- Assists employees as necessary to meet customer and company expectations.
- Performs work that is varied and generally administrative or project-oriented.
- Maintains electronic files and produces reports.
- Requires a broad understanding of organization operations, organizational procedures, and personnel.
- Handles confidential and sensitive material.
- Assists in the organization and planning of company events.
- Greets visitors, takes messages as necessary, or transfers call to appropriate individuals.
- Operates office equipment, copiers, or phone systems and arranges for repairs when equipment malfunctions.
- Coordinates conferences, meetings, or special events.
- Composes, types, and distributes, routine correspondence, or reports, such as presentations, expense, statistical, or monthly reports.
- Updates employee lists, such as the phone list.
- Point person for maintenance for the office and the building.
- Manages office space changes.
- Opens, reads, routes, and distributes incoming mail or other materials.
- Ordered and stocked all office supplies and supplies for the lunchrooms and break areas.
- Conducts searches to find needed information, using such sources as the Internet.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Formal Training
- High school diploma, or equivalent required
- Minimum of two (2) years of general administrative experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism
- Ability to consistently produce high-quality work in an open office environment without becoming distracted
- Excellent administrative skills and knowledge of the organization
