Execution of Process Control will dramatically improve the company's quality and delivery signature. Scope of this role will include both Pratt & Whitney internal shop and supply chain components.Responsibilities:As part of the Integrated Product Team drive manufacturing risk identification, mitigation and improvements to quality performance using Problem Solving Methodologies (DMAIC, 8D, Fishbone Diagrams, PFMEA and Process Controls).Use statistical analysis tools to perform Root cause analysis and corrective actions on non-conforming product.Participate on manufacturing reviews, transitions, new product introduction and manufacturing standard work improvements.Participate in Supplier assessments for technical and manufacturing capability and quality. Qualifications You Must Have:Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2 years of prior relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Engineering, or Quality; OR Advanced Degree with prior relevant experience via Research, Internships or COOP's.U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contractsAbility to effectively communicate (verbal and written), work and relate with people at all levels of the organization and be self-sufficient.Excellent knowledge of MS office computer software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
