About the Role
The Human Resources Generalist play a pivotal role in Aegis' Human Resource (HR). The generalist will assist in running the daily function of the HR department including administering benefits, employee relations, PTO and applying company policies and procedures.
General responsibilities include:
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, policies and procedures, addressing concerns in a timely and confidential manner.
- Support employee benefits program, including health insurance, retirement plans, PTO, and other benefits.
- Assist with HR administrative tasks, such as employee data management and HRIS maintenance.
- Prepare reports and help analyze HR metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Act as a trusted advisor to colleagues, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- At least two years proven experience in an HR role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and demands.
- Proactive problem-solver and collaborative.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- HR certification is a plus.
- Previous experience with Rippling is a plus.
