Location:  Hybrid - Spring/Woodlands TX office

Summary Description:
The Human Resource Generalist ensures that all HR-related policies and procedures are followed, particularly onboarding and offboarding processes.  Manages general HR operations and projects.  This role is responsible for managing HRIS data, electronic files, and other HR systems. 

Daily Responsibilities
  • Provide policy and procedure guidance to employees and management and respond to human resources-related inquiries, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to onboarding, or orientation, offboarding, exiting interviews, benefit questions, processing leave requests, managing HRIS data and reporting, HR compliance, employee files and other team projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Maintains electronic employee files and all HR records, including preparation for audits or other record data gathering projects.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and ability to handle interruptions effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security in all work-related matters and interactions involving employees.
  • Aptitude in problem solving, suggesting solutions, and working closely with a team

Skills and Education:
  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Human Resource Generalist
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to warmly convey information in writing.
  • Strong project management with high level of detail orientation and organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Executing HR detailed processes and procedures and maintaining consistent documentation structure
  • Assisting with employee complaints and researching data for resolutions
