ServiceNow Platform Architect

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen.

Requires a Top-Secret Clearance.

With over 6 years of experience, this professional excels in leading ServiceNow projects, analyzing business needs, creating architectural solutions, maintaining platform expertise, and integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications. Proficient in advanced JavaScript, Service Portal, AngularJS, and bi-directional APIs, they also possess strong troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, Discovery, and CMDB modules.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for ServiceNow Platform Architect: Pay commensurate with experience.

ServiceNow Platform Architect Responsibilities Include:
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze business needs and define integration requirements.
  • Lead the delivery of ServiceNow-based projects.
  • Create technical solutions at an architectural level.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of platform capabilities and act as a subject matter expert.
  • Study, analyze, and understand the complexities of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, Discovery, and CMDB.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, process flows, and configuration guides.
  • Preside over design configuration decisions to ensure a seamless user experience aligned with the platform design strategy.
  • Lead the ideation and technical development of innovative solutions to streamline the integration of ServiceNow and other third-party applications.
  • Develop advanced JavaScript solutions and utilize flows and actions in Flow Designer on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop custom widgets and extend out-of-the-box widgets using Service Portal and AngularJS, including utilizing third-party libraries within ServiceNow.
  • Exhibit excellent troubleshooting skills and influence stakeholders and team members in a consultative manner.
  • Utilize bi-directional ServiceNow API capabilities (REST/SOAP), including scripted REST APIs.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL, HAM, SAM, Discovery, CMDB, and overall platform knowledge.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
ServiceNow Platform Architect Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Requires a Top-Secret Clearance.
  • 6+ years of experience working with internal and external stakeholders, analyzing business needs, and defining the integration requirements.
  • 6+ years of experience leading the delivery of ServiceNow based projects.
  • 6+ years of experience creating technical solutions at an Architectural level.
  • 6+ years of experience maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of platforms capabilities and acting as subject matter expert.
  • 6+ years of experience studying, analyzing, and understanding the current ServiceNow modules and its complexities for example ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, Discovery and CMDB
  • 6+ years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, process flows, and configuration guides.
  • 6+ years of experience presiding over design configuration decisions to ensure a seamless user experience that aligns with the platform design strategy.
  • 6+ years of experience leading ServiceNow in the ideation and technical development of innovative solutions to streamline integration of ServiceNow and other 3rd Party applications.
  • 6+ years of experience on the ServiceNow as a Developer with advanced JavaScript development as well as skills creating and utilizing flows and actions in Flow Designer
  • 6+ years of experience in Service Portal and AngularJS including custom widget development, extension of OOB widgets and utilization of 3rd party libraries within ServiceNow.
  • 6+ years of experience with excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members.
  • 6+ years of experience with utilizing bi-directional ServiceNow API capabilities (REST/SOAP) including scripted REST API's.
  • 6+ years of experience with6+ years of experience with a fundamental understanding of either ITSM, ITIL, HAM, SAM, Discovery, CMDB and overall platform knowledge.
Preferred:
  • 6+ years of experience with Experience patching and upgrading (mid server and instances)
  • 6+ years of experience with fundamental knowledge of networking including TCP/IP ports and firewalls, network protocols, and IP networks
  • 6+ years of experience with the LDAP (Active Directory) integration with ServiceNow
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
