Key Responsibilities- Lead a diverse, global, distributed team in delivering Salesforce solutions.
- Design and develop Salesforce solutions on Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Communities, and MuleSoft platform.
- Provide technical leadership on projects by guiding junior team members to follow Salesforce best practices.
- Be accountable for Salesforce technical delivery, including build, system testing, handover/co-ordination, tech documentation, and deployment activities.
- Review features/user-stories, convert functional requirements to technical requirements, estimate user stories, plan team capacity, and work closely with PM to finalize iteration scope.
- Analyze/identify gaps in functional/business requirements and discuss with functional and business product owners on required changes that align with Salesforce product stack and architecture.
- Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth, and Single Sign-On.
- Migrate changes from development to test to production environment(s) using CI technologies like Salesforce DX, Jenkins, and ANT.
- Define code review methodology, perform independent code reviews, and certify code developed by self and other junior team members on the project.
- Manage risks and issues as well as cross dependencies with other teams. Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to address technical design and functional gaps.
- Effectively debug and resolve technical issues and/or defects reported in the production system.
- Assist in writing technical approach and design documentation as required.
- Work closely with Product Managers to include continuous technical improvement in the Product Line roadmap.
- Collaborate with other Product Anchors to reduce complexity across the portfolio, enhance interoperability between services, and make key design decisions across the portfolio.
- Ensure engineering excellence (e.g. best practices and quality) is achieved within product group.
- Clearly communicate technology strategy and vision to team members and internal and external stakeholders.
- Innovate and operate with an iterative, agile, and user-centric perspective.
- 9+ years of overall experience in Salesforce implementation in Sales Cloud and Service.
- Experience in a Technical Architect role in Conceptual Data model, Logic Data model, High level Design & Low-Level Design.
- Experience with Salesforce solution design, development, and integration in the (Sales & Service).
- Lead solution design, architecture, and delivery for enterprise-level projects.
- Interact directly with client stakeholders and business end users to analyze their business.
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce relevant technologies: Apex, Lightning/LWC.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to non-Salesforce teams.
- Experience of building in Agile Development Methodology.
- Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud experience.
- Automotive Cloud or other Industry Cloud Experience.
- Technical team lead experience.
- Salesforce Certifications.
