DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 2 you will provide clerical and office support to your assigned institution. The position will be responsible for filing, typing a variety of documents, and inputting data for various departments within the institution, operate office equipment and maintaining computer databases and records.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 60 or 65.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
  • Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
