About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant 2 to join our team at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting our timekeeping and HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform para-professional human resource work to support pay and time transactions, institutional time keeping, and other related HR duties.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of employee time and attendance.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and supervisors on HR-related matters.
  • Act as a State Employees Assistance Program (SEAP) coordinator, providing confidential support and resources to employees.
  • Perform similar HR work as needed at other state institutions.
Requirements
  • One year of experience as a Human Resource Assistant 1 or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions, including working independently and as part of a team.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Pass a background investigation.
